As I wrote in a old article, I asked my friends what kind of Halloween costume they will wear this year. I thus learned that Gothic black costumes are commonly appreciated by the women who I interviewed.
The first person I interviewed is my sister, Sabine. There is no incommunicable about the Halloween costume she plans to wear: my sister celebrates Halloween each and every day. She has worn only black clothes the last twenty years and her skin is very pale. She only puts dark red or black lipstick on her lips. She has long black hair.

My sister is a Morticia Addams replica. Her friends called my sister "Morticia" and they called her family "The Addams Family"; which does not mean that my brother in law is a Gomez Addams replica but means that he literally appreciate being married with a this very special person. Fortunately for us, their children do not look like Pugsley and Wednesday Addams.

This kind of costume is easier to create than we think. Here are some homemade Addams family costume examples.
Morticia Addams costume:
If you have some sewing skills, apply black lace (15 centimeter wide) around the neckline and on the sleeves of a black long fitted dress.
Apply white makeup on your face, black eyeliner and black mascara on your eyes and black pencil on your eyebrows.
Put dark red or black lipstick on your lips and black varnish on your nails (or paste false black fingernails). Dress a black long hair wig on your head.
Gomez Addams costume:
Put a black three-piece suit, a white chemise and a black tie, add a watch-pocket. Apply a false black moustache on your face. You will need to hold a fake cigar in your hand.
Dress a black wig or put black hairspray on your hair.
Wednesday Addams costume:
If you have some sewing skills, apply white lace (15 up to 20 centimeter wide) around the neckline and on the sleeves of a short black dress. If you do not have sewing skills, pass a white long sleeves blouse under a black dress.
Black socks and black shoes.
Apply white makeup on your face, grey eye shadow on your yes and light pink lipstick on your lips. Putt a black wig in two pigtails and dress it.
Pugsley Addams costume:
Dress a white T-shirt with black horizontal stripes, black shorts, white socks and black tennis.
It is that easy as that!
